Ecomm Clubhouse Review – Make Money With Dropshipping

Dropshipping is an interesting business concept. It is where the retailer sends his orders to the wholesaler, warehouse, manufacturer, etc. They have them ship the product directly to the customer. In this EComm Clubhouse review, you will hear the term dropshipping a lot.

That is because that is what this business is all about. Teaching you how to do dropshipping and be successful at it. Dropshipping saves on retail space and can cut your business expenses. It is an interesting way to do business, but it can be risky at the same time.

The question you have to answer is if this course is right for you, and are you able to justify spending that amount of money to learn this business model? To help you decide, just continue to read our review. It has the information you need to decide to take the plunge or spend your money elsewhere.

In the end, you will have to make up your mind. Just remember that many other people are making the same decision, so dropshipping can be highly competitive.

What is the Ecomm Clubhouse?

To answer this question, all you have to do is look at their website. EComm Clubhouse is basically a business course teaching you how to work in one business segment.

The course is said to be owned by Wholesale Ted, but you never get to see who this person is. He is always behind the scenes, which raises a red flag. The front person, the one you see and hear all the time, is Sarah Chrisp. Some people call her the founder, but that is hard to prove.

There is little information about Ms. Chrisp, even though she has a YouTube presence and a blog. She does not say much about herself except to brag about her success. From the pictures we see, she looks younger than 30. This makes us wonder how much experience she has that allows her to mentor only and fly worldwide.

To put this course in a nutshell, it is a basic course that may benefit beginners and those who know nothing about dropshipping. Aside from the anonymity of the people in charge, there are many good reviews about this course.

It remains to be seen if you can profit by paying the money.

How Does Ecomm Clubhouse Work?

This is a basic education course that seems to be the new fad in online businesses. Instead of opening a business and trying to sell products that everyone already has, people are starting to sell basic information and claiming it is God’s gift to success.

From what we have been able to find out, there is nothing special about this course, and only beginners should benefit from taking it. To get that information, you have to sign up through their Website and start paying your $67 a month.

After you make your payment, you are sent 10 hours of video training. This training is supposed to give you all the ins and outs of the dropshipping business. The problem is that their information is just basic stuff that anyone can learn anywhere for a lot less money.

Halfway down their landing page approx., is a big Shopify notice telling you that Shopify has approved this course. Shopify was not an education institution that had the authority to make those approvals the last we looked.

There is a 7-day refund period, so you better make up your mind fast if you want to see your money again.

Can You Make Money with the Ecomm Clubhouse?

We want to say yes, but there is nothing here for you to make money with. EComm Clubhouse is simply supplying you with information, and none of that information is groundbreaking or giving you insights that will lead you to success.

If you make money, it won’t be because of the course. It will be because of your business sense, abilities, advertising, and so on. The course gets you started. Before you think about signing up, you should read their terms & conditions page.

Point 5 tells you that the information you are paying $67 a month to receive may not be accurate. That point also tells you that the information may not be complete or even up to date.

Point 3 tells you that they do not guarantee your success, etc. In other words, you are handing people money for what may be misleading information despite what the testimonials say on their landing page.

Keep in mind that some hidden costs need to be factored in if you go ahead and get this course. While you are given step-by-step instructions on setting up a Shopify store, you may need to buy apps. Those apps also can be spendy- for example, $20 per month and more.

Remember, you are only buying information and not getting any help to cover other business expenses. So you need to pay more before you can start earning anything in return.

How To Make Money With Ecomm Clubhouse

Ecomm Clubhouse Review - learning to earn from your shopify store

The only way to make money through this educational course is to set up your own Shopify store. Other than that, you are not looking at any other opportunity to make money. The good news is since it is a dropshipping business, you may not have to buy a product until your potential customers are converted into paying customers.

You also do not have to recruit anyone to sell under you to make extra money off their hard work. Your success depends on you and your decisions. Once you pay for the course, Sarah and her anonymous partner will not be there to help you out.

They are also not guaranteeing you that the information you are paying $67 a month for is even going to help you. That is another red flag, especially when so many affiliate marketing blogs provide the same information for free.

If you are going to make money using this course, it is only because they gave you a push in the right direction and gave some helpful information. The rest will be on you as you have to deal with customer complaints, shipping issues, communication foul-ups, and more.

Pros & Cons of Ecomm Clubhouse

The positives for this course seem to be very good, but the negatives cast a shadow over anything good this ‘school’ has to offer. Here are the pros and cons of EComm Clubhouse:

Pros:

  • SEO knowledge
  • No fluff
  • No upsells that we know about
  • Teachers know their stuff
  • Good for beginners
  • Okay refund policy
  • No recruiting or stocking or product
  • In some honesty, as you are told, it is not a get-rich-quick scheme

Cons:

  • Lack of customer support
  • Lack of store management training
  • Prohibitive and hidden costs
  • Lots of hype
  • No transparency
  • Basic information that may not even be accurate or even up to date
  • There are better alternatives

Any Negatives? Beware of Lawsuits

We have found no lawsuits filed against EComm. That may be because of their disclaimer that makes sure you know that they are not guaranteeing you will be a success. Plus, it is a ‘school’ that provides you with some training even though it is basic information.

The negatives are telling, though. Paying $67 a month for information that is not accurate, up-to-date, or even complete is not a smart business decision to make. If you know how to learn from your mistakes, you can overcome that initial error and get on track again.

That is our biggest beef with this company. The least they could do for the money you are spending is provide you with the right information and be there to update that info when SEO requirements, etc., change.

Then they do not help you if you run into problems with customers or issues with your source for the products you are selling. For that kind of money, they should have knowledgeable staff on hand to field your calls.

Is Ecomm Clubhouse Legitimate?

Ecomm Clubhouse Review - non legitimate

In the basic definition of the term ‘legitimate,’ we would have to say yes, they are. Even though they are selling you low-quality info, you are still getting something for your money.

Plus, they have a YouTube and blog presence even though the people hide their true information. Beyond that, we are skeptical because of their disclaimers that undermine their sales pitches.

If you are going to succeed, it will not be because of the information they give you, it will be despite it. You have to be ready to run a business if you are going to succeed.

Final Thoughts

If you are a beginner, you may benefit from buying these videos. They provide some information that will help you understand the dropshipping business and how to run a dropshipping company.

That is as far as it goes, as there are just too many questions about the people behind the scenes and in front of the camera. Some of the photos seemed staged, which just emphasizes our concerns.

In the end, it is up to you if you want to enter the dropshipping business. This EComm Clubhouse review only exposed the inaccurate information you are being fed, and that should cause you to investigate further.

  1. Hello there! Dropshipping is still a new concept to me so I definitely have not heard of Ecomm Clubhouse. Reading through your review of them, it does seem like something that will only provide a basic understanding of that dropshipping concept but might not be for those who are looking for the juicy knowledge. Although I am new to this concept, I feel like it might not be for me at this time. If I ever do seek that route of business, I would prefer a more complete program. Thanks for compiling this review though!

    • Hey Mike, I understand your concerns and totally accept that it is not what you are looking for. Although it helps beginners and they have a well detailed training on dropshipping, it is not too popular for the  average entrepreneur to get started, and i agree.

I personally believe that getting the full knowledge of building a website and monetizing it should be forefront when starting out.

  2. Hi David, this Ecomm Clubhouse seemed promising when I first came across it. But I’m glad I didn’t jump into it without researching. They are legit and give some type of information. But I want the best I can possibly get for what I pay. And these guys’ quality seems super low.

    • Ann, that was the decision I came to, although they seems legit. I personally believe that they would not be around for the long haul. With no transparency and hidden costs, it would be difficult to capture the eyes of serious entrepreneurs.
