When you customize your own family game plan, take advantage of everything available to you. Use the Internet to find ways to save and stretch your budget. Time spent upfront is time well spent later on.

When Planning A Vacation To Disney – Timing Is Everything

This theme park is known for its long lines. No one wants to spend three hours waiting in line for a ride.

To save time as well as money, book a trip to Disney during the offseason. The middle of January to the middle of March is a great time to visit Disney.

Mid-September to the middle of November is also an ideal time to visit. Tuesdays and Thursdays are the days during the week when the park is the least busy.

I understand this is not always possible, but it is worth looking at if you can take advantage of any little time savings.

Buy A Disney Package

Disney has a number of packages that will make things simple when booking a trip. There are packages that include hotel stays, admission to the park, as well as airfare.

These packages can be booked with a travel group or by a Disney travel representative. It is best to stay somewhere at the resort to save time.

This will allow your family to develop a plan of action. They can see these attractions first and anything else interesting along the way. This way all of the family members get to see what they want on this vacation.

When you have a plan and are staying a whole week, you may find yourself going back to a family favorite. Having a plan should have some time built into it for flexibility just in case.

It certainly is tempting with the Internet to try and do all of this stuff by yourself. However, that may not always be the best idea.

Travel agents don’t work for free, but often the amount of money that they charge you to handle booking your trip can be paid for just in the savings they are aware of that you may not be able to research online.

At the very least it’s worth checking out to see if that might be a worthwhile option when planning for your Disney vacation.

The last thing I want to touch on is how are you going to get to your Disney destination. It’s tempting to drive and try to save money this way.

I know I grew up in a family where my dad seemed to like to drive everywhere no matter how far it was. I can never remember flying anywhere on a family vacation and a lot of our vacation time was spent in the car getting there.

If there’s any way possible to fly to your Disney destination this certainly is worth considering. This is going to allow you to spend more time in the park and the areas around it.

You may even be able to adjust where you are staying on the Disney grounds by staying somewhere a little less expensive and adding another day at the end of the trip with the money you save.
