How To Make Money While Traveling In A RV!

If you are looking to get more from your life, but are worried that you barely even get time to take a vacation, here I will show you how to make money while traveling in a RV.

I have a solution I am sure you will absolutely love. What if I told you that you could buy an RV, and travel around all over the country and even outside it (think Canada), all the while making a full-time living?

Sound exciting right?

You can make it happen as well. All you need to do is to get started with your online business. When you have your own online business you have nothing to worry about because you earn your money online working from your RV.

Most cities have WiFi today, so you can catch them easily. Heck, you don’t even need WiFi. Just get an internet plan with your phone and you are golden.

You could then access the internet anytime with your laptop and make money via your mobile hotspot. Since an RV has everything, right from a bedroom to a bathroom, you have nothing to worry about.

Why Do It?

You could easily make the money you need to buy clothes and groceries, or just to maintain your RV. Remember, you don’t have rent to worry about, so it’s definitely going to be easier for you.

You could be out for months in your RV roaming just about anywhere! The great thing is money is not going to be a problem for you.

You probably already know your Why. You just need to write it on a piece of paper and get busy making it happen.

travelling in a RVWhere Are You Going?

Have you decided when you are going out on your adventure yet? I think this might just be what you need to give yourself the motivation to make it happen.

Many online businesses have been started because the person starting them had a very powerful Why. Traveling in an RV is a powerful motivation for many people.

I would like to add that, having your where in place could be the motivation you need.

The United States is a great country to travel in an RV, but do it in a way that you can earn a living and travel at the same time. Like staying at home, or working anywhere at any time, get yourself a good laptop and hit the road.

I came across a great article Finding Free Places Overnight In An RV: http://roadtreking.com/finding-free-places-overnight-in-rv/

Although you will have several ways to make money that I am going to show you, saving money helps you keep more of what you earn. Certainly where you park when you are not traveling is an important part of what you are doing.

How Do You Start?

The first thing to decide is what you need to do to earn a full-time living. There are different ways to go about it.

Some of you may choose to be an affiliate marketer online and make money for each sale that you will make. Others might want to get more of their own talent and may want to try everything from writing to creative web designing and more as freelance workers.

Let’s look a little closer at making money as an affiliate or making money as a freelance worker. Either way, you control how you make money and what you do to earn it.

1. Affiliate Marketer

I do this myself. I am an affiliate marketer, and although I do not do it from my own RV, I could.

Affiliate marketing is one of the really cool ways to make money and get started in for very little money out of your pocket.
As an affiliate, you get paid to do things for an affiliate merchant.

What kind of things?

1. Pay per sale. We all have heard and probably bought something from Amazon. They have an affiliate program you can join for free and earn money by selling things on Amazon.

You can also make money on Amazon selling your own items or using drop-shipping with their Fulfillment By Amazon Program.

Clickbank is another affiliate program that just turned 20 years old. You sell digital information and earn as high as 75% commissions doing it. This is free to join and you get one affiliate id number you can use to sell every digital product they offer.

2. Pay per lead. Get paid to get leads. Join an affiliate network and find merchants who need leads. You get them the leads and they pay you.

These are also known as cost-per-action programs. I would suggest going to OfferVault and learning a little bit more about this easy way to make money right from your RV. https://www.offervault.com/

3. Pay per click. This is a paid advertising method for doing affiliate marketing. Google AdSense is a big player in this market and one you can have a lot of fun with various ways of doing content marketing.

Starting a blog and putting AdSense ads on it is easy and one you could do right from your RV. Google sells the ads, gives you code to add to your blog, and pays you 68% whenever someone clicks on one of the ads,

I have written quite a bit about AdSense in the past. You can read more about it in this article:2. Freelance Worker

I want to suggest you can do freelance work for other Internet marketers either through your own business or through another site such as UpWork or Fiverr.

This is something you can scale into a full-time living very quickly because the Internet is always growing and people need people like you to do things for them. Google search “how to become a freelancer” and start checking out what Google says.

  2. Hey there,
Thank you for your valuable information.
It would be a dream if I could earn money while traveling.
I heard even before about Fiverr and UpWork for freelancers, but don’t know how it does work.
Do you have to pay something for subscribing to these platforms?
How much do they pay you for your work?

    • Glad that I was able to help here. Yes, this is every one’s dream.

Is free to set your profile and start creating your profile gig with a few simple steps on Fiverr and Upwork.

Buyers pay Fiverr for orders in advance. Sellers keep 80% of each Gig they sell and successfully complete and deliver. For example, each $5 Gig you sell and successfully deliver, accredits your account with a net revenue of $4. Fiverr accredits sellers once an order is completed

Upwork is Just a 3 party platform, which provides an interface between clients and freelancers. Every project they charge 10% of the fees which client gives as their base rate. … Whenever someone posts a job, then clients apply to that job in terms of cover letter where each freelancer would describe his skills .

If you need further information, please feel free and contact me, would love to lend a hand. Thank you, Marta.

I have been trying to get rewarding ways of making money online and I have stumbled upon adsense in the past and kind of got interested in it.

I would like to get into it now and see how things are going to work out for me in that area. I have bookmarked this website as well as the other one you have written on.

Looking forward to learn lots from them. Thanks a lot.

  4. As I learn to be an affiliate marketer I now understand that Adsense is a “pay per click”. If affiliate marketing is a hard thing to do, will it not be more difficult to be a free lancer?
Since your tips are for making money traffic is important to do consider in affiliate marketing. How do I increase traffic to cope with pay per click?

  5. Great post and good info.

Even in an RV, doesn’t matter if you are in the wilderness or in the most remote place in the world, if you have wifi/satelite connection, you can make money.

I prefer to do it as an affiliate marketer, I’m at Wealthy Affiliate for quite a time now and it is the best platform you can get.

How awesome is it actually, you go on holiday in the wilderness, the weather could be bad, so you decide to make money and it works?

    Thanks for sharing this post!

  6. Fun post.  I have to admit that when you talk about a “full time” income that this term is wholly subjective.  What may be a full time income to you, might not be a full time income to others.  The whole RV thing sounds like it might be something fun to do when I get a bit older, say retirement age.  Thanks for reminding us about the different ways of earning as an affiliate marketer.

    • Tom, a friend of mine got involve in Affiliate Marketing because their life long dream was to travel around in an RV and they accomplished that within two years, and now making more than triple that they were making on their full time job.

I am always thrilled with the reasons why many people would like to walk away from their full time job. I am happy that I can help by directing them in which way they need to go to make it possible. Thank you for the comment.

  7. Loved your post, Bishop.  My wife and I really like to get away in our trailer.  We are not full-timers but we are looking ahead forward to retirement and being able to take longer trips soon.

Even tough I am not making any money from my websites yet, (mostly because of me), whenever we do go away for period of time, I always take my computer with me so I can work on them while I am gone.

It’s true what you say. as long as one has a wifi hookup of hotspot, they can work from just about anywhere in the comfort of their RV.  The other upside is that you work for a couple of hours a day and can spend several hours doing what you want when you want.

If it’s something one is interested in but don’t know how to start, Wealthy Affiliate is the best way to start the process.

That idea is very appealing to me, (not sure about my wife though) and many others are already doing that.

I have a website to do with the RV thing.  You have given me an idea for an article that I will post on that website and maybe my WA one as well.  And if that sort (full time RV’ing) of thing appeals to you, there is a young couple in the States that have been doing this full time thing for about 8-9 months now.  Check them out on Youtube at  “Fate Unbound”.  Their journey is quite interesting.

RV’ing full time has a certain amount of Romance to it, don’t you think?

All the best as you Move Forward

    • Wayne, glad that you get some value here. Getting around in a RV is very adventurous and romantic. Your cellular provider can provide internet access 24/7, granting easy access to the Internet.

Joining a community to keep you up to date with the internet and traffic strategies is a must for your business, and Wealthy affiliate provides this platform. My number one recommendation for all. Newbies and veterans.

Anytime you can share how to walk away from your full time job and do things that people dream of doing is great. Glad that you were able to gather some ideas here with this post. Good luck.
