Is Quora Reliable? Quora is a social Q&A platform that started in 2009. It was not until a year after that it was made public. Quora’s founders are Adam D’Angelo and Charlie Cheever. It works similarly to other question-and-answer platforms like Reddit, Ask.com, wikiHow, and Yahoo Answers (dissolved).
In 2018, Quora reported that they receive around 300 million unique users monthly. This could be because a large number of users are not using the platform regularly. Or they have unknowingly created accounts to get the answers they needed and have forgotten about the credentials they have used. This is because Quora uses interstitials or pop-ups to have visitors register before they can access and view the answer they need.
Joining Quora is entirely free. You don’t need to pay for any plans to join the community and ask or answer questions. If you want to earn extra money on the platform, you need to build your reputation first. Building your reputation takes a while. You need to answer or ask several questions every day.
When answering questions, you must make sure that your answers are informative and factual. Otherwise, it may get downvoted by other users.
